What Does Your Sleep Position Say About You?

We hear a lot about what sleep position is best for spinal alignment, snoring, sleep apnea, or acid reflux. But have you ever considered what your go-to sleep position says about your personality? Keep reading to learn more!

Sprawled Out
If you prefer to sleep with your arms and legs stretched out like a starfish, hogging the entire bed, you are likely a natural leader. However, you don’t care to be the center of attention. You are an eager and supportive friend. While people enjoy being around you, you may go out of your way to make others feel comfortable and run the risk of being a people pleaser.

Pillow Hugger
You may just think it feels comfortable, but pillow huggers are often affectionate, loyal, and nurturing. You like to feel cozy and safe, but you are also a strong person as you have a close-knit support system. You are a positive person who loves to daydream, even if you never take action on those dreams—but you should take action!

Fetal Position
If you sleep on your side with your legs curled up like an infant in the womb you’re not alone! This was the first position we knew, so it still feels safe and comfortable. While you may be tough on the outside, you feel things deeply. If you are someone who tends to be shy, you are highly personable once you warm up to others.

Stomach Sleeper
If you’re most comfortable sleeping on your stomach, you are playful, adventurous, and have a lot of character. You are an authentic and direct person, that sometimes people misinterpret as a tad bit aggressive. While you are free-spirited and take calculated risks, you still get anxious during times of transition.

Cradling Your Head
If you prefer to sleep on your back with your arms rested comfortably underneath your head, you are a confident, positive, and outgoing person. You are loyal to your loved ones and go out of your way to be helpful with friends, family, and your community. While social, you don’t enjoy being criticized.
